DESCRIPTION: ISFOC participates in the PreAirQuality project, whose main objective is to improve the air quality in our cities and municipalities through air pollution research aimed at acquiring, on the one hand, new knowledge to facilitate the development of a system that allows for investigation, and on the other, to analyse in detail air quality behaviour and prediction models.

To achieve this objective, the project aims to cover the following specific goals:

  • Development of a low-cost intelligent system that facilitates air quality management in a municipality, region, or specific area.

  • Development of a network of maintenance-free and easy-to-install devices that will collect relevant air quality data and transmit this information for further analysis.

  • Development of a software application that facilitates the consultation of data related to air pollution at a point and the analysis of different indicators to implement measures that improve its quality.

  • Validation of the technology used and predictive models/behaviours defined during the project development.

The PreAirQuality project is part of the call for Aid for the Support of Innovative Business Groups (AEI) from the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism (MINCOTUR) for the year 2021, within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan. The main objective of these aids is to strengthen business groups and improve the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises.

The PreAirQuality project is subsidised by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism (MINCOTUR).
