|Solar Resource Evaluation|
Estimation and/or prediction of the available Solar resource for CPV plants in a determined site.
Scope ranges from all over the Studies carried out by ISFOC. Meteo staff is included; in case of installation and monitoring of any measure device, Operation staff as well as Software Engineering staff will be also included.
1.-Data (from different origins):
"In situ" measures registered by Weather Stations and /or measure equipments
Solar Radiation Database arising from Projects/Programmes/National and International Measure Campaigns.
Solar Radiation Softeare supported by registers coming from weather station (national and international measure networks) and or images from satellites, say, Meteonorm, PVSIST, SAM ...
2.-Calculation Software and Data Processing: R, MatLab, Excel....
3.-Weather station and/or Measure Equipments; weather station or measure device allowing the observations discrete pick-up "in situ" of the physic variables interesting for the Solar Resource estimation in an specific site.
Stage 1.-Iniatial Requirements

Stage 2.- Data collection
Compilation of every Meteorological and Solar Radiation data available for the Solar Resource estimation. Data coan be facilitated by the customer (according to Contract) or by ISFOc (acoording to Contract).
If the acquisition and/or installation and /or monitoring of a weather station or any other measure device is considered, its start-up, monitoring or data Collection will be scheduled at this stage.
Stage 3.- Data quality assessment
Solar rediation data coming from the observationsd on surface (as weather stations and measure equipments) should be subjectes to a quality analysis to verify their use for the Solar Resource estimation in each case.
Stage 4.- Data Analysis
Solar Resource Estimation: it requires a numeric calcualrion, available data processing and Graphics representation of the results.
