DESCRIPTION: ISFOC participates in the ADOMIF project, whose main objective is to analyse the operation and maintenance procedures carried out in the photovoltaic sector, evaluating the technical-economic impact of integrating Industry 4.0 technologies to digitise and transform the operation and maintenance processes of the photovoltaic industry. Among the expected results, there will be a photovoltaic installation where real operation and maintenance conditions for these procedures can be reproduced, thus allowing the evaluation of the new methodology developed.

To achieve this objective, the project aims to cover the following specific goals:

  • Increase the competitiveness of the photovoltaic sector through the integration of innovative Industry 4.0 technologies to enhance quality, performance, and safety in relation to the techniques, technologies, and methodologies currently used in the operation and maintenance of large photovoltaic plants.
  • Analyse photovoltaic technology and adaptation to improve O&M processes in the photovoltaic sector.
  • Improve quality and reduce time in O&M tasks through the digitisation of procedures.
  • Increase safety and reduce work-related accidents in photovoltaic plant operations.

The ADOMIF project is part of the call for Aid for the Support of Innovative Business Groups (AEI) from the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism (MINCOTUR) for the year 2020. The main objective of these aids is to strengthen business groups and improve the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises.
