Computing and Software Development Laboratory
ISFOC has state-of-the-art computing equipment for data storage and analysis. It also features high-capacity, high-speed servers that support technical consulting, design, development, and maintenance of IT systems. These systems enable both the control and monitoring of installations (primarily photovoltaic) and data analysis and study (Big Data and Business Intelligence).
This laboratory develops distributed sensor systems for data acquisition, parameter measurement, and remote control of devices and sensors applicable across various sectors, including industry, energy efficiency, meteorology, and Smart Cities. Additionally, the laboratory is working on the development of a digital twin for PV trackers, aimed at optimizing the operation of photovoltaic plants.
This laboratory serves as a foundation for ISFOC to manufacture its own measurement and data collection systems for the validation and verification of the repair techniques investigated in the project. The digital twin developments can also be used for research related to module categorization based on performance during plant operation.
