The Climatic Testing Laboratory is fully equipped for validation testing of both photovoltaic modules and solar trackers. Additionally, it has been adapted to perform validations on equipment and materials from other sectors or technologies. The laboratory features two climatic chambers (8000L and 1500L) with temperature and humidity control, a UV chamber, a hail launcher, a rain simulator, electrical insulation measurement equipment, and more.

ISFOC’s Climatic Testing Laboratory holds ISO 17025 accreditation granted by ENAC (Entidad Nacional de Acreditación), accreditation number 1410/LE2590, for conducting temperature and humidity tests.

The Climatic Testing Laboratory is used for verification and validation in research on module repair techniques to assess the feasibility of second-life applications.
