Recently, two students from the Dual Master's in Renewable Energies at UCLM have joined ISFOC. They will work for six months, integrating the training received at the University with professional practice alongside the ISFOC team. This master's program began in October 2023, with the rector, Julián Garde, and the Minister for Sustainable Development, Mercedes Gómez, participating in the inauguration. These two students will have the opportunity to learn and complete their master's thesis at this centre, which is recognised as a leader in research and development in cutting-edge photovoltaic technologies and the latest technologies, such as green hydrogen.
In this first edition of the pioneering dual master's programme at a national level, 30 students have participated, receiving general technical training in renewable energy technologies such as photovoltaic and thermal solar energy, wind energy, biomass, and hydrogen technologies. In this way, students have gained the necessary knowledge to design and evaluate the technical, environmental, and economic feasibility of energy projects, as well as understanding the current energy context and its regulatory framework, the current situation of energy generation facilities, and their impact on the environment.
