This phase primarily aims to implement a pilot with a predictive maintenance platform in the metaverse for photovoltaic plants with IoT and Artificial Intelligence to optimize maintenance.

The challenge of the second phase of the project is to carry out a pilot project that, based on the research tasks conducted during the first and second phases, facilitates the creation of a predictive maintenance platform for the ISFOC photovoltaic plant installed in Puertollano. This platform will create a collaborative virtual environment in the form of a control center in the metaverse. It will integrate both IoT devices and platform, as well as AI techniques to facilitate failure prediction, thereby reducing and optimizing the cost of corrective and preventive maintenance.

METAVERSO II is funded by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism through grants to support Innovative Business Groups (AEI) for the year 2023 and is coordinated by SmartechCluster. The participating companies are: Instituto de Sistemas Fotovoltaicos de Concentración S.A (ISFOC), Solartys, Verne Information Technology S.L, INNOVA IT S.L, and Aumenta Solutions S.L.
